Collision incidents at the interchange circular junction
In Hamm, two traffic accidents occurred on August 29th at the roundabout Hafenstraße/Dortmunder Straße. The first accident took place at around 13:45 hours, involving a 61-year-old woman driving a Mitsubishi and a 20-year-old man on an E-scooter. Unfortunately, a woman cyclist was severely injured in this incident, and she was taken to a local hospital via ambulance. A man riding an E-scooter was slightly injured in the accident.
The second accident occurred at around 14:45 hours. It involved an 80-year-old man driving a Daimler and a 42-year-old woman cyclist from Hamm. The cyclist intended to leave the roundabout in the northern direction, but the accident took place between a car traveling west on Hafenstraße and the cyclist on the southern cycle path. To the best of our knowledge, the cyclist was not previously mentioned as being injured.
